Apprentice at MANTION
Apprentice in the sheet metal workshop’s at MANTION
We interviewed Théo, who worked as an apprentice at MANTION for a year.
Théo obtained a vocational training qualification in technology before moving into manufacturing.
He did further studies in boilermaking before specialising and obtaining a vocational degree in project management. His apprenticeship at MANTION was part of his training.
Théo was account manager and methods engineer in the sheet metal workshop’s production department.
In this workshop, MANTION staff perform tasks such as laser cutting, shaping, panelling and welding.
He carried out several duties during his apprenticeship, covering areas such as quotations, manufacturing files, drawings and design.
The best part of the job for Théo was being able to follow projects through from A to Z, i.e. from planning to prototype or finished product.
